PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

Biographical Notes:

I have extensive legal, business and ADR experience and have served as Mediator in over 20000 cases and as Arbitrator in over 200 cases covering a full spectrum of commercial disputes. I prepare in advance and proactively work to facilitate settlement in my mediations. As the attached resume reflects, I am on multiple panels for institutional arbitration providers and am frequently selected by parties for ad hoc arbitrations. My domestic and international experience includes a wide range of commercial, business, employment, financial, construction, technology, franchise, corporate, real estate, entertainment, IP and a full gamut of insurance matters.

These Biographical Notes tend to repeat everything above which are also contained on attached resumes, so I’ll spare you the repetition. Based on my varied experience, I take seriously how people are affected in the disputes which come before me. I work tirelessly to settle my mediations and diligently to effect a fair, legally proper outcome of matters I arbitrate.

A quick mention that I served in the Peace Corps, practiced law, started and ran businesses, served as employee and employer and have been exposed to all sides of conflict. I listen well and believe I am well qualified to serve as a true neutral in mediation and arbitration matters.
